Bart and Kelly are the best! These two have such a wonderful relationship…as you can see from their wedding photos below, they have a very hard time not smiling, having fun and laughing together. Some interesting coincidences have brought them together. Firstly, they are both originally from London, Ontario, but never actually met there. How they actually did meet was in the elevator of the building in Toronto that they both ended up getting condos in! I hear that the line “do I know you from somewhere?” actually came up that day!
Kelly is a very creative and active woman. She is lovingly referred to as a Martha Stewart protegé by her friends and family and there is nothing that she can’t DIY or bake up to the delight of everyone around her. Her laugh and smile makes you feel like you have known her for years and she listens to every word you say and truly hears you. Bart is her perfect mate. The way he looks at her makes you aware of how much he adores and treasures her. He too has a great group of friends that are loyal and super funny! One of his groomsmen even made it to the wedding even though he just the night before became a dad. These guys wouldn’t have missed his wedding for the world and that says a lot about the kind of friends they are and that Bart is in return.
Their creativity as a couple was also apparent in the way they chose to celebrate their day. They had their ceremony and reception in the Thompson Landry Art Gallery in the Distillery District and it was perfect for them! I didn’t realize this totally until I showed up at their condo to do photos with Kelly before their first look. They had amazing contemporary art hanging on their walls that revealed to me their love and respect for the arts. That just makes them even more awesome in my eyes, but then again, I am biased!
Congratulations Bart and Kelly and may you have many years of unbelievable happiness together!
Bart and Kelly decided to do a first look….I just adore it when a couple decides to do this! It is such a personal and loving experience for the couple when they get to see each other, spend some time cuddling and calming their nerves before they say their ‘i do’s’.
